Recovery
The contacts you already paid to acquire, worked until they book or tell you no.
Recovery runs backward. Past customers, estimates that never got a yes or a no, leads that went quiet. Multi-channel outreach sequenced around how people actually respond, with every reply handled through to a booked appointment.
What it's for
Recovery is for operators sitting on a list nobody has systematically worked in a year or more.
Most quote-driven businesses keep growing the list while doing nothing with the contacts already on it. Those aren't cold prospects. They asked you for a price at some point. The timing was wrong, or follow-up slipped, or they needed one more nudge nobody had time to give.
Re-engaging them costs a fraction of acquiring someone new. The hard part is doing it at scale without putting the work back on your team.
How it works
- Consent mapping.
- Before anything sends, we map which records carry documented opt-in for which channels. A website form with visible SMS consent language creates one thing. A phone call, a marketplace lead, or a purchased list may create nothing of the kind. Records without the required consent go to suppression or a separate reviewed workflow. This gets scoped at sale, not discovered at launch.
- Infrastructure.
- Dedicated sending domains and mailboxes, separate from your main domain, warmed for four weeks before the first message goes out. SMS registration runs two to four weeks on the carrier side and cannot be expedited. Campaigns get planned around that, not the other way around.
- Sequencing.
- Email carries the substance. Text creates visibility. Voice builds trust. Messages are built to start a conversation, not to broadcast an announcement.
- Handling replies.
- Interested, uncertain, or just curious, every reply gets a real answer and a path to a booked appointment. Your team gets involved once the job is on the calendar.
- Reading responses.
- Every response type is data. A booking goes to the calendar. A not-interested reply closes the loop and cleans the list. An opt-out removes a contact who was never going to convert. Silence segments a contact for a future offer instead of leaving them in a grey zone.
- Stalled estimates.
- Estimates past your active follow-up window with no decision get worked back to a booked conversation or a recorded outcome.
What you get
First responses typically inside 48 to 72 hours of launch. A campaign report at the end covering contacts reached, replies, appointments booked, and outcomes, with revenue figures pulled from your job management system rather than from a campaign dashboard.
A cleaned database as a byproduct. Bad numbers gone, opt-outs honored, real prospects segmented.
What it needs from you
- A contact list export with name, phone, email, and any service history. The cleaner the list, the better the result.
- Any existing opt-in or consent documentation
- Your offer. What are you putting in front of these people and why now. We will review it and push back, but the offer has to come from you.
- Enough volume to be worth running. Consumer lists generally need 1,000 or more permissioned records. Commercial and high-value lists qualify at smaller counts when the dormant estimate value supports it.
What it doesn't do
Recovery is not email marketing. A newsletter goes out and nothing comes back. This is outbound across three channels, on infrastructure warmed for weeks beforehand, with every reply worked through to a booked appointment.
Recovery is not permanent. A campaign works a list and the list gets finished. Once it's worked, new pipeline at that pace requires either a bigger list or a steady inflow of new customers and estimates. We will tell you where your list runs out before we start.
Proof
Gutter and roofing contractor, Jacksonville FL. A database going back to 2020 that had never been systematically worked. Nine dedicated inboxes warmed for four weeks before the first send. 4,724 contacts reached, 35 appointments booked, $12,708 confirmed closed revenue from the client's own job management system, zero new ad spend. From the first 603 contacts, email only: 39 replies and 25 appointments, a 64 percent reply-to-appointment rate.
Our delivery team, multi-location fitness group. 2,017 dormant contacts across three locations, 133 appointments booked, 42 new members, 36 percent average reply rate, zero additional ad spend.
The second one is our delivery team's work for their client, not a Quest AI campaign. We label it that way because the distinction matters.
